This relaxed romantic getaway is located in Knysna, the heart of the Garden Route. Belvidere Manor Hotel is located on the west shore of the Knysna lagoon and is close to the waterfront with its wide range of unique restaurants and shops. Belvidere Manor Hotel caters for families, golfers, and conference delegates and is the first choice for honeymoon couples and their wedding guests.
Facilities include a swimming pool, two tennis courts and landscaped gardens with a birding list of 270. Each individually designed Cape-style cottage is equipped with a full kitchen, wide verandah and spacious living area. Ceiling fans and a fireplace take care of inclement weather and indoor entertainment includes satellite television and a DVD player. One, two or three ensuite bedrooms are available.
Caroline's Restaurant, a member of Chaine de Rotisseurs, offers seafood, venison and vegetarian dishes while Knysna's smallest pub - The Bell - is located in the oldest building on Bevidere. This popular Knysna attraction offers seafood, snacks and oysters on the terrace or in winter, around the wood burning stove.
