Amzee Bokmakierie Guesthouse (Bokmakierie is the name of an indigenous South African bird, found in abundance in Dana Bay Nature Conservancy.) is on the famous Garden Route near Mossel Bay, the town with the most moderate climate in Africa.
Dana Bay Nature Conservancy leaves a wide green belt for the animals in what has been researched as their favourite access routes between the inland and coastal areas. Regular beach clean-up operations are organised to remove hazardous flotsam that can injure these animals.
The Indian Ocean with its unspoilt endless white beaches and the lovely landscape covered by coastal Fynbos can be seen from every room in this guest house.
Built in 1998 by Ria and Koos, decorated this guesthouse with old and new. This guesthouse opens itself as a home away from home and combined with the picturesque scenery, hospitality and care from your host Ria and Koos, you will feel welcome and at home.

Cancellation fee
- Cancellations done less than 30 days prior to arrival will be charged 25% of the invoice value
- Cancellations done less than 14 days prior to arrival will be charged 50% of the invoice value
- Cancellations done less than 7 days prior to arrival will be charged 100% of the invoice value
No-shows will be charged 100% of the contract fee.
