Botlierskop Private Game Reserve

Botlierskop is situated in the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountain range, in the famous Garden Route, between Mossel Bay and George in the Western Cape. It is only 10 minutes drive away from beautiful beaches, and 30 minutes drive away from Mossel Bay and George. The setting is in a quiet valley through which the Moordkuil River flows, a hidden paradise in the aptly named Eden District of South Africa. You can get lost in the quiet surroundings where cars are a rare sight, but wild animals abound.

FROM GEORGE / KNYSNA ON N2

Pass the following exits:
- George
- Glentana (Exit 419)
- Great Brak River (Exit 409)

Take the Klein Brakrivier / Little Brak River (Exit 401)
Turn Right at the STOP and cross the bridge over the N2

Approximately 500 m from the T-junction: Follow our brown Botlierskop signboard with the lion footprint, from this point. Turn Right.

Approximately 4km ahead: go over the causeway.
200m after the causeway turn right at the Botlierskop sign, onto the Gonnakraal road.

Approximately 4km on Gonnakraal road see Earth Dam and thatch roofed day-tour centre on the right,
turn right after Earth Dam and enter the gate.

FROM MOSSEL BAY ON N2

Pass the following exit:
- Hartenbos (Exit 397)

Take the Klein Brakrivier / Little Brak River (Exit 401)
Turn Left at the STOP

Approximately 500m from the T-junction: Follow our brown Botlierskop signboard with the lion footprint, from this point. Turn Right.

Approximately 4km ahead: go over the causeway.
200m after the causeway turn right at the Botlierskop sign, onto the Gonnakraal road.

Approximately 4km on Gonnakraal road see Earth Dam and thatch roofed day-tour centre on the right,turn right after Earth Dam and enter the gate.

FROM CAPE TOWN ON N2
(4 hours drive from Cape Town)
3.5 hours drive from Stellenbosch

Take the N2 from Cape Town/ Somerset West to Direction George

Carry on with the N2 not turning off where you see the Mossel Sign (keep left and on the N2).
Take the Klein Brakrivier / Little Brak River (Exit 401)
Turn Left at the STOP.
