Situated in South Africa's picturesque Garden Route, Eight Bells Mountain Inn nestles in the Ruiterbos Valley Region at the foot of the Robinson Pass on the R328 between Mossel Bay (35km) and Oudtshoorn (50 km). Established more than 80 years ago, this charming Inn is renowned for its friendly hospitality, superb service and range of recreational facilities amidst magnificent mountain scenery.
Tasty teas and lunches are served on the Garden Terrace and a good wine list complements the Oak Room's a la carte dinner menu. Facilities include swimming pool, tennis courts, squash, bowls, billiards, children's play park and playroom, horse riding, walking trails and birding, all on the 400-acre estate.

The following policy applies to children 2 - 12 years of age:
Rose Court:
- Rooms 13 and 14 - two adults and two children sharing the same bathroom
Pool Terrace:
- Rooms 18 and 21 - two adults and one child sharing the same bathroom.
- An additional child can be accommodated on a roll out bed
- Rooms 19 and 20 - two adults and two children sharing the same bathroom
Palm Court:
- Room 8 - two adults and one child sharing the same bathroom
- An additional child can be accommodated on a roll out bed
Swiss Village:
- Room 25 - two adults and up to three children sharing the same bathroom
Children Sharing in own room: The adult sharing rate will apply to the oldest child (commissionable) and the child rate will apply to the second child (non-commissionable).

Horse riding activities are available at an extra charge. There are numerous, beautiful hiking trails around the grounds and mountains and they are free of charge.
Eight Bells Bowling Greens are now open to the public and we have tennis courts.
