While it is romantic to stroll at the beach at night it is also n exciting exploration by torchlight of intertidal and rock pool marine life, guided by now famous Judy Dixon. This started as a service to local wildlife society and now is a popular and very unique experience

Location: Swartvlei beach on the Garden Route, between Wilderness and Sedgefield

Itinerary

You can have pizza delivered by 18h30 from the local pizzeria, bring your own drinks and enjoy a sundown picnic

At 19h00 a short introduction will be made before you walk to Gerrike's Point 16 km away while Judy gives guidance on all the organisms experience. She used to teach biology

The moonlight is only available at the time of the full moon
