Ilita Lodge is near the N2 highway, above Great Brak River on the Garden Route of South Africa and is 10 minutes from the well serviced George airport. It is conveniently located between 2 well equipped towns of George and Mossel Bay with most expected facilities and services available there. It is about a 20-minute drive to either. The lodge is in quiet, safe and scenic surrounds of the beautiful fynbos region in the foothills of the Outeniqua mountain range. Several quiet white sandy beaches are within minutes from the lodge.

From either direction Cape Town or Port Elizabeth, you follow the N2 highway towards George and exit at Great Brak River between the towns of Mossel Bay and George. Then you turn inland and follow the circular route through town until you cross the short bridge over the Great Brak River. You pass the small shopping centre on left and turn left into MOSSIENES road. Turn left into Voorbrug road and follow this winding track up the hill for about 3 km and then you turn right into Hoogtepad South, well signposted for Ilita Lodge. You follow the dirt road for a few hundred meters to the lodge.
