Stokkiesdraai is an Afrikaans (Dutch) word referring to gaffing of grape vines (Stokkies) that were bound together with raffia in the vineyard. The local children would do this and not attend school. The explanation to the teacher would be "Ons het stokkies gedraai" meaning we were binding stick together in the vineyard.

This is a beautifully located home stay in the Outeniqua Mountains in the rural community of Friemersheim and has a local spaza shop attached to it.

Sleep in the sound of the ocean and after a lovely breakfast you can go and work or just relax on the beach. Outeniqua on C is the perfect place to be.
