Stokkiesdraai is an Afrikaans (Dutch) word referring to gaffing of grape vines (Stokkies) that were bound together with raffia in the vineyard. The local children would do this and not attend school. The explanation to the teacher would be "Ons het stokkies gedraai" meaning we were binding stick together in the vineyard.

Little Rock is next to the sea, right opposite the Prestige Surf site, with beautiful sea views and peaceful surroundings, where you can enjoy breakfast whilst listening to waves.
